| ‘Fairytale’ is a Little Bit of Festive Magic
Since The Pogues first reformed for a series of concerts in 2001 their
annual tour has become something of a pre-Christmas tradition — a sort of
office party for the band’s loyal fans.
This year they’ve gone one better with the re-release of Fairytale of
New York - a song that is as synonymous with the season and as soaked in
alcohol as a Christmas pudding.
