| Child Passports
“I am an American citizen. I got my citizenship through my ex-husband
who I divorced two years ago. We had two children together, ages 12 and
10. I would like to bring them out of the country this summer for a holiday
in Ireland, but they do not have passports. Does my husband have any say
in getting them U.S. passports? We did not part on the best of terms, and
he could well deny my request. Would it be best if I just got Irish passports
for my kids?”
