The Irish Cultural Center of New England hosts its annual Christmas Ball at the Marriott Quincy Hotel tonight. The ball will honour several Bostonians for their contributions to the Irish community, including Peter Meade, vice president of corporate affairs at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, and Carol D’Arcy, the long-time manager of the Irish Consulate in Boston.
