New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is no stranger to the Irish community
and the issues of importance to us. Right from the beginning of his mayoralty
he has made it a priority to involve himself in issues such as protection
for the undocumented and New York GAA plans for a new playing field. He
has also done his part to ensure that the peace process in Northern Ireland
remained a priority in the city.
