The Next Irish Idol

Irish-American singer Corina Brouder reached the finals of the Irish “You’re a Star” competition, which will select the Eurovision singer for 2004, similar to the American Idol contest. She was the only U.S. citizen to get that far in the talent competition. Although she is from New York, her Irish ties are very strong. Her father is from Athea, County Limerick, her maternal grandmother is from Mohill, County Leitrim and her granddad was from Swanlinber, County Cavan. You can see and hear Brouder at: www.broadjam.com/corina.
