Donal Cam, The O Sullivan Bere, (1560-1618) has been portrayed in Irish
history as one of the greatest heroes of the Irish struggle against
the Elizabethan forces. His epic march from Glengarriff to Leitrim has
been glorified in folklore through the ages.
